Join us for FollyFest’s first country show!

Do you make a mean Victoria sponge? Are your leeks the best of the bunch? Have you taken a stunning picture of Faringdon? Then this is the show for you!

Adult (Junior entries welcome)

A. Classic Victoria sponge

B. Jar of jam, chutney or pickle

C. Handmade knitted or crocheted item

D. Photograph of Faringdon

E. Flower arrangements (max height and width 60cm)

F. Any three-of-a-kind vegetables from your garden/allotment

Junior classes (under 14 years)

G. Painted pebble or rock

H. Photograph of Faringdon (junior)

I. Six decorated cupcakes

J. Statue or model created from your recycling bin

K. Design a poster for a green/environmental cause (pencil, paint, crayon or felt tip)

L. Miniature garden on a plate (max size 8 inches/25cm)

The Country Show will be held in the Barber Rooms at All Saints’ Church.

Registration on the day and display from 12 noon.

Judging starts at 2pm and doors will be open to the public to view from 3pm

Rules and Information for Exhibitors

  1. No entry to the Barber Rooms during judging
  2. Exhibitors may enter multiple exhibits
  3. Exhibits must be grown or made by the exhibitor (other than materials required to create some entries eg: recycling materials)
  4. Flowers for class E can be purchased
  5. All containers etc. are to be provided by the exhibitor
  6. The Barber Rooms will be open from 12 Noon to 2pm for registration of entries and staging of exhibits
  7. Judging begins at 2pm
  8. Judges’ decision is final
  9. No entry to the general/viewing public until 3pm
  10. Presentation of trophies and prizes at 4.00pm
  11. No exhibit may be removed before 4.30pm
  12. Any produce remaining after 5.30pm will be sold
  13. Disputes will be resolved by the Follyfest committee
  14. The Follyfest committee will not be responsible for loss or damage to any exhibit
