FollyFest is Faringdon’s annual music and community arts festival, providing the drumbeat to our town’s quirky year.
Covid-19 Update : 14 April 2020
Whilst we remain in the countrywide lockdown and with the Government signalling that restrictions are unlikely to be removed any time soon it would now seem inevitable that we’ll be unable to hold FollyFest this year at the time and scale that we had planned.
It’s our opinion that the opportunity to have a mass gathering of people in early July will not be possible so it’s with regret that we must announce the postponement of our event. Much planning had already taken place for this year and we are certain it would have been another great success but we’re sure that you’ll all understand the inevitability of this announcement.
If, in the coming weeks, we find that restrictions are reduced and group gatherings can be facilitated safely then we’ll investigate the opportunity of holding some smaller scale FollyFest events in suitable locations later in the year.
Wishing you all good health in the coming weeks and months.
